Free-For-Life Healthcare Self-Management Activ8rlives4 Health+Wellness App Update

Posted on August 11, 2021

Aseptika Ltd today announced the launch of the latest version of its Free-For-Life Healthcare Self-Management App called Activ8rlives4 Health+Wellness App.

This new version of Activ8rlives4 App was developed using experience gained during the COVID-19 pandemic, adding new features and making it easier for users working remotely with no in-person instruction, so they could gradually learn for themselves how to use all its functions.

Another major new capability is the use of the accelerometer that is built into most smartphones, to allow the recording of physical activity levels throughout the day. This same function works across iPhones and Android phones, integrating this information into the health record for every user. This is ideal for those that do not like wearing a wrist activity tracker and is ideal for public health programmes or social prescribing initiatives where it can be recommended for use without any purchase whatsoever.

Kevin Auton, Managing Director of Aseptika commented:

“The new Help and Introduction support for automated user on-boarding and the addition of the new physical activity tracking into a Free-For-Life App, means that Activ8rlives4 App is ideal for public health initiatives to motivate and increase physical health, with a greater focus on achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. Our public-facing app also continues to enable its users to track their other health parameters, such as blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, temperature, respiration rate, lung function, medication and any number of customisable parameters.

Certified as a Class I medical device with the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the Activ8rlives4 App has always been free-of-charge for life and will continue to be so. Data recorded in this powerful app is stored in the UK under GPDR and is never used for marketing purposes.”

Aseptika has recently been recertified to ISO 13485:2016 by its Notified Body, BSI. The Company’s data systems comply to the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit and is certified to Cyber Essentials Plus level of protection for users.

Activ8rlives4 App is available for free download from the Apple, Google Play and Kindle Fire app stores.
