NHS Shared Business Services launces the Technology Enabled Care 2 Framework

Date: 23rd January 2023. St Ives Cambridgeshire, UK

NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) has launched the Technology Enabled Care 2 Framework to support patient care using technology. It aims to promote the use and uptake of technology-enabled care solutions to improve the provision of integrated care across health and care organisations.

The Framework Agreement is free for all UK Public Sector Bodies and its purpose is to make it easier to procure, adopt and implement digital healthcare at speed, by reducing time and cost in running procurement procedures.

UK Public Bodies can either buy directly from a catalogue of goods without having to first go through a competitive tendering process or they can submit a further competition specification to the approved suppliers where a specific service or tailored implementation is needed.

The Technology Enabled Care 2 Framework is designed specifically for the NHS and Social Care sector’s requirements.

This technology framework is divided into themes:
·       Remote clinical monitoring.
·       Alarm receiving centre platforms.
·       Digital alarms solutions and peripherals.
·       Intelligent activity monitoring.
·       Patient controlled personalised healthcare records and a one stop shop / combined solution.

The framework agreement key services include the implementation of remote patient clinical monitoring, fall prevention programmes, enabling patients to manage appointments, supporting Local Authorities setting up Alarm Receiving Centres and much more.

Suppliers, including Aseptika, are included on the framework agreement:

·       Access UK Limited
·       Aseptika Ltd
·       Astraline (TEC) Limited
·       Baywater
·       BT PLC
·       Doccla UK Limited
